Frequently
Asked Questions
Q: We have used expert consultants
in the past without the desired results. Why didn't we get better
results?
A: Most consultants, by the nature of the work they do, focus
on a few areas of expertise. This can be helpful, but often ignores
the fact that an organization is a dynamic, organic system. Notice
"organic" and "organization" come from the
same root. One of the definitions of organic is "of, relating
to, or derived from living things!" Every facet of the system
interacts with and influences every other facet. LifeTraks works
with the fundamental nature of the organization itself. Thus,
our work ultimately impacts every segment of the organization.
Others, although skilled at what they do, are working at too superficial
of a level to have any meaningful impact.
Q: How are you different?
A: Too often, we see organizations wasting valuable energy and
resources by reacting to "symptoms." These symptoms
are visible and painful. However, if the root causes are not identified
and addressed, the ultimate cost can be staggering, both to the
organization and the individuals involved. We work with our clients
to identify the "real" problems, and the necessary changes
needed to resolve those problems. Often, the root cause lies within
the underlying values and beliefs held by the organization and
its members, especially the leaders. Most organizations lack a
methodology of modifying the culture when it is in conflict with
the objectives of the organization, which is often the case. These
organizations rely on us to help them resolve difficulties with
mission critical projects and objectives. They rely on our services
because we generate significant results with a fraction of the
resources they have expended in past, unsuccessful efforts.
Q: How do you facilitate lasting
change?
A: Since we address the underlying issues at the root level, we
offer a level of assistance that generates and sustains lasting
change, even when our clients' previous efforts failed.
Q: Do you require the purchase
or addition of costly new resources?
A: No, quite the opposite. In almost all cases we were able to
improve the utilization of existing resources, sometimes dramatically.
Q: Where do you find that your
training has the biggest impact/pay off?
A: The nature of our training allows us to see measurable results
on all levels of entry, often instantly. In many instances the
training starts with one individual or team to the point that
other entities of the organization become aware of the change
and success generated by that team. As a result, other parts of
the organization request to have the training expanded to include
their services. During this process the momentum keeps building
to the point where finally the training is role out throughout
the entire organization. At that point we found after interviewing
the top level of these organizations, that the impact and the
results achieved has even exceeded the most optimistic expectations.
Q: How do you measure the results
of your training?
A: Typically we do an in depth assessment before and after the
training. In addition we meet with key individuals, groups, department
heads, executive teams and other stakeholders (e.g., customers,
suppliers, etc.) to clearly identify performance goals and objectives.
In predetermined intervals we revisit the organization and measure
the results/ performance generated by the change.
Q: How can you ensure us that this
will not be another awareness builder that lacks results?
A: We pride ourselves to be a no nonsense organization and we
are willing to back this up with our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
If you are not 100% satisfied with the training you have received
we will gladly refund your tuition. We offer free, one-hour mini-workshops
as a means of familiarizing organizations with the principles
and methods we use. Contact us to schedule one for your organization.
