Thomas and Jerri Fuhriman, founders of LifeTraks,
Inc. have a combined experience of over 50 years of training and
facilitating. Their extensive experience in multicultural environments
includes delivering workshops, training, and consulting in many
countries throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America and the
U.S. This has given them a unique ability to work with a variety
of organizations and cultures.
Their practical, unique approach effectively
changes their clients' beliefs, values, and culture, having a
dramatic impact on not only the personal lives of the participants,
but their organizations as well.
Besides the many individuals that have benefited
from their training and coaching, they have worked with many organizations
including non-profits and small and large businesses. Some of
the clients they have worked with include Compaq, Ericsson, Hitachi
Data Systems, Sprint, Attachmate, Community Partners of Idaho,
Occurrance, and Envirotech.
Thomas is a member of the National Speakers Association
and is an experienced motivational speaker. Thomas and Jerri share
8 children, their horses, and a love for teaching. Jerri is a
professional horse trainer and riding instructor, as well as an
experienced facilitator and teacher. With over 25 years experience
she has developed a number of ways to use horses as powerful training
tools. Some of the business and personal workshops include ground
work with horses; no riding required, just interacting with a
powerful and totally honest, and alive feedback mechanism.
They have many years of working with families
and individuals on core life skills; communication, conflict resolution,
relationship building, and changing or eliminating destructive
self-beliefs. During that time they also successfully transitioned
those skills into helping organizations change and eliminate destructive
organizational values, practices, and culture. As international
consultants they have helped many multi-national and global companies
transition to the organization of the future where values are
based on collaboration, efficient sharing of knowledge, and a
balance between individual creativity and organizational unity.
Their gifted way of delivering a message makes
it easier for those they are working with to join in, accept and
embrace what can often be difficult changes. Individuals, and
organizations, have a natural resistance to change. Although we
all recognize individually that change is necessary, emotionally
we fear the unknown consequences. One of Thomas and Jerri's abilities
is to frame change in a way that allows individuals and organizations
to recognize and manage their fear of change, allowing them to
make rapid progress and growth.
They have used these skills and experience with
many different types of projects. The last few years the focus
has been on knowledge management. Knowledge
Management has become key to the success of any organization
in today's business environment. The challenges of effectively
managing knowledge are immense. Many of the methods are mostly
new and contrary to many of today's organizational culture and
values. Although this conflict between culture and current objectives
is the primary reason for organizational failure, it is rarely
being addressed or resolved.
